Dr. Carolyn Murphy has taught earth/space science for twenty-three years in public schools in Columbia, South Carolina. She is the author of Carolina Rocks! The Geology of South Carolina and other publications.
Her doctoral dissertation, Circling the Wagons: Conceptions of Middle Adolescents Regarding Religion and Science and Implications for Critical Thinking, explored the conceptions of religion and science held by evangelical Christian youth. She is currently researching and writing The Scientific Revelation, which will be published soon. Carolyn has been a Baha’i for 40 years and has traveled to teach the Baha’i Faith in many areas including the West Indies, the Navajo reservation, and the American South. |
